This would optimise individual performance and therefore improve business performance.
Working closely with the HR director, the head of training and the in-house training team, Elizabeth helped re-engineer the entire training programme to focus every training activity on a specific business objective. In particular, powerful new leadership training was needed to give senior leaders the skills to inspire, direct and enable others. Elizabeth also coached and mentored the company’s senior leadership team to meet ongoing business challenges and objectives. To ensure that the impact of the training was sustained, she developed and empowered the company’s training team to deliver and evolve the programme in the longer term.
As a result, 80% of those attending this prestigious leadership development programme achieve promotion. Return on investment into the business is measured as part of the programme. The company has uniquely high retention rates for its industry and employee satisfaction remains high. During the period after the programme was introduced, like-for-like sales are double its competitors. The training programme subsequently won a National Training Award.
